TERMS AND CONDITIONS  FOR ADMISSIONS

Payments:
For the services contracted, some advance payment should be made to hold the booking on a confirmed basis and the balance amount can be paid either before your joining the course or on joining-but definitely before the commencement of the course. We hold the right to decide upon the amount to be paid as an advance payment, based on the type of course enrolled in.

Mode of Payment:
Payment can be made through wire transfer to our bank (Bank Detail) or through Online Payment Gateway system by Visa card only. Payment can also be made through cash /cheque/ credit card in person at any of the listed Institute nearest to your place of residence.

Note :
1. All payments should be free and clear of any withholding tax and deduction.
2. Bank charges, if any, for remittance (by remitting bank or by intermediary bank) would be strictly borne by payer.

REFUND POLICY

  1. If a student has attended classes & availed 40% & above of the course curriculum, no refund is permissible.
  1. If a student has joined and has started with the classes and has availed upto less than 10% of course curriculum, refund may be considered but at the discretion of the management committee. However, a minimum of 20% of prescribed fees shall be deducted towards admission procedure and tuition fees.

ATTENDANCE & LEAVE
Daily attendance record is maintained for the students at the VLCC Institute. Attendance registers are maintained by respective faculties at the institute and students are required to sign the same on a weekly basis.

Students can avail leave for valid reasons by applying for it in advance or submitting leave application once they join back. The onus of covering up the syllabi lies on students. Leave will be no criteria for extension of validity.

The leave days are entered in the student log book.

VALIDITY OF COURSES
Please note that there is a stipulated validity for the course duration, which is a maximum of 25% of the prescribed course duration. Therefore an 8 months course can maximum be extended to a period of 10 months, a 4 month course can be extended to 5 months and  a 2 months course can be extended a maximum to two and half months. While issuing a Diploma / Certificate in cases of duration extension, this will be issued for the prescribed duration only and not for the extended course duration.

DIPLOMAS & CERTIFICATES
On successful completion of training programme, qualifying in examination & completion of post examination internship, VLCC Institute shall issue its own Diploma.
In cases when a crash course / a condense course / a rapid fast track course has been delivered, the Diploma / Certificate would mention the appropriate name of the course and the actual duration put in by the student (note, this will be shorter than the prescribed duration).

No requests for unjustified customization of name of the courses, the dates mentioned, the duration of the course, the name of the student would be entertained at any cost what so ever.
No requests for back dating of the Diploma / Certificate would be entertained at any cost.

CITY & GUILDS
All beauty courses are affiliated to City & Guilds, U.K. The Diploma obtained from City & Guilds is recognized in over 120 countries. Separate examinations are conducted – both theory & practical universally in all the countries. Extra fees are charged for appearing in the practical & theory exams. For affiliated courses, fees, rules and regulations of the affiliating body shall apply.

DDHN EXAMINATIONS
After the completion of training, the examination will be conducted by the VLCC institute.
Examination will consist of 2 parts:
a) Theory
b) Practical
Each candidate is expected to submit his/her logbook before the start of examination. Candidates will be declared as passed, if they secure not less than 40% marks separately for theory & practical.
The candidates will be placed in the following divisions:
Above 75%            -            Distinction
60 - 75%            -            1st Division
50 - 60%            -            2nd Division
