Partnerships to realise your Corporate Social Responsibility mandate

 

As per the directive of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (2014), every company, private limited or public limited, which either has a net worth of Rs. 500 crore or a turnover of Rs. 1,000 crore or net profit of Rs. 5 crore, needs to spend at least 2% of its average net profit for the immediately preceding three financial years on corporate social responsibility activities. This obliges companies to enter into one or more social engagement programs whereby they contribute to the social upliftment of people in the country.

  • Beauty & Salon segment alone is expected to have the manpower need of 121 lakhs in 2022 from 34 lakhs in 2013
  • Rising consumer spend, increased availability of funding and expansion into tier-2 and 3 cities have been the key growth drivers for the Wellness industry
  • With 65% workforce educated lesser than High-Secondary, this sector is an ideal platform for CSR initiatives by imparting skills based training and making masses earn livelihood for secure future.
